Base Development: Buildings

Buildings are the foundation of your Sanctuary. They determine how quickly you can gather resources, construct upgrades, train and heal troops, research technologies, improve equipment, and strengthen your heroes.

Nearly every progression system is connected to one or more buildings. Developing them in a balanced order will help you grow steadily and avoid costly bottlenecks later in the game.

🏰 Core Buildings

Core buildings control your overall progression, unlock important features, and protect your Sanctuary.

  • Sanctuary: The most important building in your base. It unlocks new features and determines the maximum level of many other buildings. Knowing the Sanctuary Upgrade Requirements is crucial!
  • Builder's Hut: Supports construction and improves your ability to develop the base efficiently.
  • Residence: Provides population growth and supports continued development.
  • Monument: Tracks achievements and important progression milestones.
  • Hall of Honor: Supports hero advancement and other special progression systems.
  • Temple: Provides access to advanced enhancement and progression features.
  • Walls: Help defend your Sanctuary during enemy attacks.
  • Watchtower: Provides scouting reports and warnings about incoming attacks.

🌾 Resource Buildings

Resource buildings produce and store the materials required for construction, research, troop training, and equipment development.

  • Farm: Produces Food.
  • Granary: Stores Food.
  • Lumberyard: Produces Wood.
  • Lumber Depot: Stores Wood.
  • Herb Garden: Produces Herbs.
  • Herb Storage: Stores Herbs.
  • Antitoxin Workshop: Produces Antitoxin for advanced upgrades and progression.

Upgrade production and storage together. Producing more resources will not help if your storage capacity cannot support the cost of your next major upgrade.

⚔️ Military Buildings

Military buildings control troop production, healing, intelligence, and defensive readiness.

  • Barracks: Trains new troops and promotes existing troops to higher tiers.
  • Training Grounds: Increases troop training capacity and supports military growth.
  • Infirmary: Heals troops wounded in combat.
  • Scout Squad: Enables scouting and provides intelligence about potential targets.

Keeping these buildings upgraded improves your ability to fight, recover, defend your base, and participate effectively in military events.

🔬 Research & Enhancement

These buildings provide long-term improvements that strengthen multiple areas of your account.

  • Research Lab: Unlocks technologies that improve development, resources, troops, heroes, and combat performance.
  • Gear Workshop: Crafts and upgrades hero equipment.
  • Smelting Workshop: Produces materials used for gear upgrades.
  • Weaving Workshop: Produces equipment-enhancement materials.
  • Epigraph Workshop: Unlocks and upgrades Epigraphs that provide additional combat bonuses.

Research and enhancement upgrades are especially valuable because many of their bonuses remain useful throughout the life of your account.

🐦 Raven Buildings

Raven buildings unlock and improve one of the game's most important long-term power systems.

  • Raven Nest: Houses your Raven and serves as the primary building for Raven management.
  • Raven Workshop: Supports Raven upgrades and enhancement systems.
  • Falcon Tower: Assists Raven development and provides additional bonuses.

Raven progression becomes a major source of power as your account develops, so these buildings should not be neglected.

🦸 Hero & Event Buildings

These buildings provide access to heroes, competitive modes, missions, collections, and valuable progression rewards.

  • Tavern: Recruits and acquires heroes.
  • Arena: Hosts competitive hero battles against other players.
  • Black Ops: Provides special missions and reward opportunities.
  • Explorer's Camp: Unlocks exploration activities and related progression content.
  • Curio Hall: Supports collection and artifact-related features.

Visit these buildings regularly so you do not miss recruitment opportunities, missions, event attempts, or progression materials.

🤝 Alliance & Trading

Alliance and trading buildings connect your base to caravans, merchants, and cooperative systems.

  • Alliance Stable: Supports alliance caravans and shared transportation systems.
  • Private Stable: Manages personal caravans and their rewards.
  • Nomad Trader: Offers special items, resources, and other valuable purchases.

Check these buildings frequently to take advantage of alliance benefits, trading opportunities, and limited offers.

Hero Statues

 

Levels, stars, skills, and gear improve individual heroes. Statues work on a broader scale by supporting every applicable Warrior, Ranger, or Warlock. This makes Statue development increasingly valuable as your roster grows.

📋 Recommended Upgrade Priorities

Every building eventually matters, but the following order provides a strong general path for steady progression:

  1. Sanctuary — Advance it whenever possible to unlock higher building levels and new features.
  2. Builder's Hut — Improve construction efficiency and keep development moving.
  3. Research Lab — Maintain continuous research for permanent account-wide bonuses.
  4. Barracks and Training Grounds — Keep troop tiers and training capacity competitive.
  5. Resource Buildings — Maintain enough production and storage to fund future upgrades.
  6. Raven Buildings — Continue developing this increasingly important source of power.
  7. Gear and Enhancement Buildings — Strengthen equipment, Epigraphs, and other combat systems.

Final Tip

Do not upgrade only the Sanctuary while ignoring the buildings that support it. Keep construction, research, troop development, resources, Raven progression, and equipment moving together. Balanced development creates consistent growth and prevents one neglected system from slowing your entire account.
