Canyon Conquest Guide
Canyon Conquest is a cross-alliance competition played through Registration, Matching, Battle, and Settlement. Alliances compete in a round-robin format, so every participating alliance faces the others.
Registered players can still receive rewards even when they do not enter battle. For the best result, register correctly, prepare your strongest suitable squad, and follow the alliance plan.
TLDR - Important Steps for Canyon Conquest
Alliance Members: register and add strongest squad in middle lane. Share reports of useful opponent information if requested.
R4/R5: fill and balance the lanes, monitor the opponent, and update the strategy after each round.

What Players Need to Do
Registration Phase
All alliance members need to do 2 things
- Register for the event.
- Prepare your strongest squad and add to the middle lane.
Additional information
Confirm your assigned lane with an R4 or R5. Default lane should be middle lane.
If an alliance member does not register, they will receive no rewards.
Message an R4 or R5 if you need help registering.

Alliance Members - Preparation and Battle Phase
- DO NOT Change Lanes. Only R4 and R5 should.
- You do not need to be online for each round. Fighting is automatically calculated based on squad that was registered.
- Collect your rewards at the end of each round.
- Share Reports if requested.
- Not all alliance members will fight in a lane and will be listed as Not Participating. This is fine and you will still receive the same rewards.
R4/R5 - Preparation and Battle Phase
The strategy is win 2 lanes. Put your strongest squads in 2 lanes. Which lane you choose is crucial to your win or loss in each round. Adjust your lanes each round.
Adjust lane positions base on:
- Track important opposing squads and report their lane movements.
- Check the next opponent's positions after every battle.
- Look for repeated formations and lane patterns.
- Review battle reports.
- Share the opponent's faction, hero usage, substitutions, and recurring formations
- Collect your rewards and prepare for the next round.

Example
- Alliance members registered in the middle lane.
- Strongest squads were put in middle and right lane.
- Left lane held the remaining alliance members. Left lane shows the most might, but remember only the top 15 people here will be fighting.
- The 16th person and lower all will show not participating.
Additional Information
The first few events will not have faction bonuses but it's important to note that there are a few Ranger squads to watch out for. The more your server ages, the more heroes will be available.

Settlement Phase
- Time to collect all the rewards from your battle results

What R4 and R5 Need to Do
Registration and Organization
- Ensure every lane is filled.
- Assign players to lanes according to alliance strategy and player strength.
- Designate a primary registration officer and a backup. This way there are only 2 people changing things.
- Encourage members to use their strongest squads.
- Help players who need assistance with registration or squad selection.
Battle Management
- Monitor opponent strength and faction composition.
- Identify the opponent's strongest squads and likely primary lanes.
- Track high-power opposing squads as they move.
- Rebalance alliance strength between lanes as the battle develops.
- Position the strongest available players where they provide the most value.
Post-Battle Review
- Check the next opponent immediately after each battle.
- Compare positions across rounds to identify patterns.
- Review player reports and battle data.
- Track opponent factions, heroes, substitutions, and recurring formations.
- Adjust player distribution so the alliance does not overcommit to one lane.
- Determine & Communicate the next-round strategy before preparation begins.
